Just How Effective is a Slap Chop?

Commercials can be persuading and informing but how accurate the information they convey remains debatable. They persuade, inform and create awareness of existing products thus playing a very effective role in products promotion and marketing. This is no different with the thrilling commercial of the chopping machine popularly known as slap chop.

A slap chop is a manual chopping machine. It is used to slice mince and dice. It works when you hit or slap the plunger. A slap will start three blades to chop or cut food. If you want the food finer, slap the chop more times unlike other devices used for the same purpose that you have to make adjustments.

A Slap chop review shows that, a good number of people celebrate this simple and easy to use device since it cuts down the amount of time you would have otherwise used dicing your food with a knife. Gratified users especially the ones using on vegetables like onions applaud this machine since they now do not cry when chopping the onions. When chopping them, one does not have to remove the skin as it automatically chops the fleshy part and leaves out the skin.

Others highly regard this food chopper for its effectiveness when cutting fruits, vegetables and chopping nuts. Nuts stay in the chopper and do not bounce. However not all nut lovers are happy, some complain smaller nuts like peanuts get stuck but work well with the bigger nuts like walnuts and pecans.

While some users celebrate its easy to clean features and mode of use which makes it easy for them to prepare salads and vegetable stews other dispute and say foods get stuck in the blades. Some have managed to work around the problem by spraying the blades with Pam to ease food from getting stuck. Its effectiveness to work on potatoes and tomatoes has been disputed as well. Disappointed users say that slap chop is unable to slice tomatoes and it instead squashes them. However some videos on the internet show how to effectively use the device to cut tomatoes and they show it working better when its face down compared to face up.

Note that, there are imitators who have come up with the same product of inferior quality. So, make sure you are using the authentic brand before raising any disputes.
